Nice hotel good location In the centre of town but still a little away from the main attractions. They’ll give you a lift to the sportina chair which is great, but you need to ski back to Clotes at the end of the day and walk down. Thankfully it’s all downhill but still a trek in ski boots and tired legs. The rooms are lovely, clearly upgraded in recent years. Beds are comfortable and the shower is good. The bar is nice too and attracts locals for a coffee in the morning. The breakfast could do with more choices though. No hot food, only pre boiled eggs and a toaster. And plenty of pastries/cakes. They do offer some options made to order though, but at an additional cost. The hot tub is a nice addition too. All the staff are great. Very friendly and helpful Overall would recommend and stay again

The best hotel The hotel was absolutely amazing, the service, care and attention to detail was second to none. The food at breakfast was amazing, bad service impeccable, and the room cleaning above and beyond. Would definitely recommend staying here, will be staying again.

We recently stayed here as a group of six (ranging in age from 38 to 66) split across two rooms, ​Here is why it’s a winner: ​🏨 The Vibe & Location ​The hotel is exceptionally well-located right in the heart of town. It’s very modern with a sleek, contemporary feel, yet it manages to stay incredibly warm and cozy—a must when you're coming off the mountain. ​One of the coolest features is that the hotel doubles as a local tabacchi and cafeteria. This means there is a constant buzz of local life and authentic food passing through, which gives it a much more genuine Italian feel than your standard tourist hotel. Exceptional Service & Food ​What truly sets this place apart is the staff and ownership. ​Personal Touch: The owners and team are incredibly friendly; they actually take the time to recognize you and remember who you are. ​Attentive: Any request we had was met quickly and with total efficiency. ​The Breakfast: The food was excellent. There was plenty of it if you wanted to fuel up for a big day, but more importantly, the quality was top-tier. It wasn’t just "hotel food"—it was high-quality local fare. ​❄️ Skier-Friendly Features ​They have clearly thought about what skiers actually need: ​Heated Boot Room: No stepping into cold, damp boots in the morning. ​Free Shuttle: They provide a free bus transfer to the slopes, taking all the hassle out of the morning trek. ​Wellness: After a long day on the runs, the Jacuzzi pool was a total lifesaver for the older (and younger!) knees in our group. ​🛌 The Rooms ​Everything in the rooms felt brand new and "just worked." ​Spotlessly Clean: Housekeeping is top-tier; fresh towels and a deep clean every single day. ​Well-Appointed: Plenty of plug points (a rarity in Europe!) for charging phones, watches, and GoPros. ​Comfort: The rooms were consistently warm and well-designed. ​The Verdict: Whether you’re 38 or 66, this place has everything you could wish for. Clean, modern, and perfectly situated. We’ll definitely be back.

Great chalet feel hotel Great hotel. Located close to main town- about 2-3min walk. Spacious rooms and en-suites. Clean and modern, with ski chalet wooden feel. Staff are very attentive and go out of their way to help. Every morning Rocco gave us a lift to the ski lifts. Return- you just walk down to apres ski bars. Breakfast - continental with few off-menu items- scrambled egg, crepe, pancakes. Stocked bar and Barista. They have a heated ski boot room in the basement. 5 seater hot tub on the terrace.

Mooi hotel, hospitality onder de maat Het hotel is erg schoon en netjes en heeft een fijne, centrale ligging. Ook de skiopslag is goed geregeld en schoon, wat absoluut een pluspunt is. Helaas laat de hospitality in het hotel duidelijk te wensen over. Bij aankomst moesten we zelf op zoek naar iemand die bij de receptie kon komen om ons in te checken. Dit gold eigenlijk tijdens het hele verblijf: als je iets wilt vragen, moet je steeds zelf iemand zien te vinden. Bij het inchecken kregen we geen uitleg over de kamer of de faciliteiten; we moesten alles zelf uitzoeken. Er wordt niets proactief verteld of uitgelegd. Een simpele begroeting zoals “goedemorgen” kan er helaas ook nauwelijks vanaf. Tijdens het ontbijt komt er niemand aan tafel om te vragen of je koffie wilt; ook daarvoor moet je zelf actie ondernemen. De shuttle service is perfect, maar onbetrouwbaar. Spreek je een tijd af, dan komt deze standaard een kwartier later — mits je er zelf opnieuw achteraan gaat. Doe je dat niet, dan kan het nog langer duren. Het ontbijt is netjes verzorgd, maar bestaat voornamelijk uit cake en taart. Een normale croissant ontbreekt en voor warme opties zoals scrambled eggs of een pannenkoek moet je extra betalen (€4–€5). Kortom: een schoon en goed gelegen hotel met prima faciliteiten, maar met een duidelijke tekortkoming op het gebied van service en gastvrijheid. Dit is extra teleurstellend gezien het feit dat wij in een suite verbleven van €2100 voor een week — dan verwacht je simpelweg meer aandacht, service en beleving. Dat haalt helaas een hoop van de totale ervaring weg

Fabulous family hotel in the best location in the old town of Sauze D’Oulx This is a raw gem of a hotel in the lovely village of Sauze D’Oulx. Small, family run and amazingly high standards of service and cleanliness. The location is perfect at the bottom of the pedestrian zone but in a quiet spot and with its own locals bar with fabulous tapas/ nibbles with your post activity drinks. The rooms are very well furnished and the shower and bathrooms lovely and plenty of hot water. Only criticism is no BBC on the telly but no bad thing ! We really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi (twice) and especially when it was snowing. The family have owned the property for 10yrs and their care and attention to detail is evident. Letitia, Deborah, Bepe and Rocco (two sisters and Dad and brother) just can’t do enough for you. Private transfers to the lifts each morning after a great breakfast is always a good start ! A special mention for the rest of the staff who are great and in particular Margarita. We shall tell only special people who value great value and great family service about this place and nobody else ! Until the next time… Ciao David & Sam

Great place for a couple or small families Great 3 star hotel in this picturesque village of the alpes near Torino called Sauze de oulx . Family run small business that will take care of you and make sure your stay is unforgettable. We were a family of 6 (adult children) and came to ski. I had trouble communicating with the hotel on the phone and I was skeptical but the place was great. They gave us the honeymoon room but the kids stayed on the first floor in a four person room that was not ideal but we made it work. The cleaning staff was amazing and everyday they provided service even on the holidays including Christmas. The breakfast was out of this world and included pastries breads, cheeses and meats , complimentary espresso or cappuccino daily. Then a complimentary shuttle took us to the sportina lift since the lift close to us was not operating because of the conditions. I am not sure if I would do that uphill to get there if it was not for the buses that also run for a fee. We rented equipment from across the street and also there was a mini market for snacks there. We loved the mountain and especially the fresh snow. The village is great and we ate on all of the recommended by the hotel places. Prior to eating we enjoyed the jacuzzi on the 1st floor of the hotel. The bar at the hotel is a great place to get coffee or dessert or a drink all day until 10 pm . We enjoyed our stay and we will be back. Thank you Rocco and staff

Ricordi e presente in un bel hotel! Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia in questo hotel. Il soggiorno è stato gradevole, perché la camera che ci è stata assegnata era molto bella e pulita. Ottima la colazione e gentilissimo il personale. Ho voluto portare mio marito e mio figlio a Sauze, dove in estate trascorrevo le mie vacanze, da bambina.
